Land Trust Lobby Day – February 21st, 2019

Join your fellow land trust leaders and supporters in Olympia on Thursday, February 21st, for Land Trust Lobby Day!
This is your opportunity to educate your legislators about the vital work of your land trust, and to share why state funding for conservation is so critical for our communities.
Lobby Day is open to everyone. WALT will help you schedule visits and make sure you have the materials and preparation that you need.
WALT Lobby Day will begin at the Woman’s Club of Olympia for briefings and move to Capitol Campus.

8:00 am – 8:30 am Welcome, light breakfast, and packet pick-up
8:30 am – 8:50 am Brief advocacy training
9:00 am – 12:00 pm Meetings with legislators
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm Provided lunch & remarks by guest legislators
1:00 pm – 4:00 pm Meetings with legislators
