Call-for-Nominations
Every year, the Washington Association of Land Trusts (WALT) works together with the land trust community across the state to develop a policy platform for the state legislative session and identify other long-term policy and advocacy opportunities.
From now until November 5th, WALT is soliciting nominations from our community of land trusts, partner organizations, and other public supporters. Once we collect all these exciting ideas, our incredible Advocacy Committee works closely with our membership and Board of Directors to develop our collective advocacy vision for the year! To get a feel for what this looks like, check out our policy priorities from 2022.
