Western Rivers Conservancy (WRC) has taken steps to acquire an important part of the Willapa Bay National Wildlife Refuge, the Willapa Coastal Forest. Nestled in the west coast’s second largest estuary, this property is critical for salmon spawning and rearing. With a purchase agreement signed, WRC will work to secure funding through LWCF.
