Vashon-Maury Island Land Trust recently closed on 20 additional acres of land to increase the acreage of the Tahlequah Creek Preserve! The preserve now protects 30 total acres of watershed, and 3,000 feet of the Tahlequah Creek. This section of Vashon Island is among the most wild and critical pieces of land on the island, with douglas firs, red alders and maple leaf trees and habitat for critters, now protected in perpetuity!
