Capitol Land Trust recently conserved 30 acres of salt and freshwater wetlands, and uplands in the Chapman Cove Preserve. This protected area includes nearly a mile of marine shoreline, and the salt marsh provides habitat for four salmon species: fall chum, coho, coastal cutthroat, and winter steelhead.
