A chance to preserve ranchland in Violet Prairie Wildlife Area

This past month, The Conservation Fund purchased 1,567-acres of ranch land to the west of Tenino, WA. They will be holding the property until adequate funding is available for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) to purchase and manage the property long-term. Ultimately, the land will be a key part of WDFW’s vision for a future Violet Prairie Wildlife Area Unit. Read more via WDFW.
