Directly adjacent to land protected by DNR and the Navy, Jefferson Land Trust acquired a 75-acre forested property near Thorndyke Bay that contains wetlands, freshwater streams, and pristine wildlife habitat. Surrounded by forestland that is protected or actively being conserved, these acres are a piece of a much bigger conservation puzzle working to sustain wildlife in Hood Canal.
